The economic analysis results also showed that it could gain 47% of annual painting cost savings compared to the conventional method. It was also expected that the economic benefits of the automated method will be much greater when considering more realistic number of workable days and contract volume per year, large number of laborer reduction, and safety and quality improvement in the automated method. A sensitivity analysis was extensively conducted to verify the superiority of the automated method over the conventional method as well.
