Hilarious!

I left a comment about the computer post, I agree with totally!

I am going to have to take a pass on the gold swipe. You should write for Clusterstock!

Ok I lied. I am working on a section in rebuttal right now!

GYSC,

I might even take a stab at trying to understand what gold should be trading at right now, based on my own thoughts of the wild ride it has experienced in the last century.

You will note that I am not claiming if gold is actually in a bubble or not. I do think there is a risk though (just as there would be with any asset that has doubled twice in price in just one decade).

Mark,
I hear you. I cover that tonight as well. Doubled in a decade though? I think of 10X dot bomb stocks and home prices screaming up 200-300% in 5 years for my kind of bubble! Its all about participation, leverage, and barrier to entry that makes a bubble possible. My 2 cents.

Stag,

That video is hillarious. I've watched it four times now.

I have no doubt gov't sponsored health care will have problems, but for many, hopefully the majority, it will be better than no health care or their existing health care. The "free" market has failed with regards to health care imo. Some things such as a military or a police force are not suited for free markets and the profit motive.

Plus, if we can find trillions to bailout the wealthy and their faux asset values then we can find some money for health care.

If I were in charge, I would push for a major medical type of coverage. I won't bore you with my reasoning.

Great. My word verification is "undazes". It's all a hazy to me.

GYSC,

I just put up a chart of inflation adjusted gold. It does not look good to me.

"Doubled in a decade though?"

No. Doubled twice in a decade. That's 4 times its low.

mab,

Will Ferrell has got to be one of the funniest people I've ever seen.

I can't stop watching the video either, and I'm not even sure where I stand on the actual issues!
