EDS plans expansion of Chinese employees
SHANGHAI: Electronic Data Systems, the second-biggest computer-services provider in the world, plans to increase its number of employees in China more than sixfold to increase profit through cheaper labor.
"If you stay stagnant and you don't go off and do it, you're not viable as a company," Wirt said.
"Employees will be impacted, there's no doubt about that, and I feel for them."

Yet further evidence of the rush to eliminate "service" in Service Centers - truly an amazing thing to watch. I guess as long as their "quality assurance" folks tell them that 50.000001% of respondents don't hate their guts then the outsourcing is working.

Since in any situation playing defect is more beneficial than cooperating, all rational players will play defect, all things being equal.
As a group, we'd be better off if nobody defected.
Individually, we're better off if we personally defect.
This holds true for him. This also holds true for us as we buy cheap foreign goods at Wal-Mart.
Will the two prisoners cooperate to minimize total loss of liberty, or will one of them, trusting the other to cooperate, betray him so as to go free?
